Article Title: Farmer Readiness for Kharif Crops: The Key to Higher Productivity and Climate Resilience

Abstract:

Kharif is the major cropping season in India, beginning with the onset of the southwest monsoon and extending up to October. During this season, farmers cultivate crops such as paddy, cotton, maize, soybean, groundnut, pulses, millets and sugarcane. The success of these crops depends not only on timely rainfall but also on the preparedness of farmers before sowing.
